I Know a Good Idea When...

For today's video installment, I take you inside a weekly staff meeting at Cool People Care.

A few weeks ago, I discussed the idea of a suggestion room. For us, we always have good ideas flying around the room. So, we need a way to recognize the great ones and then act.

My friends and I use "sorority snaps" as a low tech option...gets the point across and doesn't disrupt like clapping!

Spot on Sam - people often mistake a good execution for a good idea. There's a real tendency to place more importance on the execution of any idea, rather than finding a great idea and then executing it well.

Idea first, execution second.
