happens all the time. i deal with people like that (as in whoever is subing for Alan Colmes) much more that I'd care to.
People like that aren't interested in a conversation. They're interested in hearing themselves talk.
If you don't want to hear what people have to say, why ask? why waste everyone's time?

Hannity tried to do the same thing with Democratic strategist Michael Brown, yet none of you complain. The difference is that he insisted on continuing to make his point instead of throwing a hissy fit like Ann Coulter did, playing martyr as is her habit. The hostess gave her every bit as much opportunity to answer as Brown got, until her answer became absurd, which the hostess pointed that out and moved on.
