Quote of the Day

I normally don't do quotes of the day, but this one is too good to pass up.

My friend and new blogger, Dustin Britt, blogs at the SQUeEZE. He has great advice for middle managers, stuck between entry level employees and upper level management. Today, he tells a great story that ran in the Washington Post about a talented violinist playing an expensive instrument in the wrong place at the wrong time.

And Dustin concludes:

Greatness in the wrong context will simply fall on deaf ears.

Wow. That's poetically earth-shattering and truthfully brilliant all at the same time. After all, it's hard enough to be great in the first place. Now I have to make sure I'm great in the right context.
