• I really wanted to read an article in a newspaper, but to get online access, you have to be a print subscriber. The paper thinks they'll make more money by having me subscribe. So instead of me reading the article, linking to it, and driving a few more people their way, they chose to hold out for their subscription money, rather than serve up a handful of page (and therefore ad) impressions. Nice work!
