Seth Writes Back
I'm a big fan of Seth Godin's marketing ideas (especially this one about trade shows).
Since I read his blog each day and I've read one of his books, I sent him a quick email to tell him to keep up the good work.
And, less than 8 hours later, he wrote back.
You may have never heard of him, and may never care, but I do appreciate it when someone takes the time to say thanks.
I will now do him the favor of buying every one of his books.

He wrote me back right away, too, when I had a thought about something he wrote. I disagreed slightly with his conclusion, and he wrote back to state his case for his original point. I still thought I had a point but I didn't pursue it further, though I thought it was cool he took the time to reply.
On the other hand, I think it's kind of weird to have a blog with no comments enabled. But that's a choice well-known bloggers get to make, I guess.
