Meanwhile...

I haven't been working on the book lately (but we have picked a cover) because I've been working on my final paper for one of my classes. As soon as I answer this question, I'll be back to writing about how to save the world:
If the Gospel of John reveals the specific theological and political conflicts and issues present in the Johannine community at the end of the first century, what does John's description of Joseph of Arimathea tell us about this community? Namely, why did John include that Joseph was a 'secret disciple'?
Riveting, I know. I'll have the answer in a week or so.
