Theological Calisthenics

Talk about jumping through fundamentalist hoops:
Kennedy believes that dinosaurs were created during Biblical times, thousands rather than millions of years ago.

Dinosaurs, according to some Seventh-day Adventist theories, either never existed, their bones were scattered by Satan on earth to confuse people, or they were animals created by God but altered by Satan after the fall of the Garden of Eden.
"And one, and two, keep it moving! And three, and four, sweat it out now! And jump! And jump! Reach for the sky, like you're grabbing a theory out of left field! Don't sound crazy! Don't give up! And one, and two..."

lmao, craziness

Ok, and by Kennedy you meant "geologist Elaine Kennedy, who has spent her career examining dinosaur eggs and nests and now serves as adjunct professor at Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas."

Upon reading your post I assumed that you were quoting Patrick Kennedy or one of the other famous ones and couldn't believe he'd say something as silly as that. So that led to me reading the linked article to discover that indeed it wasn't him at all. Sort of misleading there... Hopefully unintentionally...
